Study IN Australia

Complete Guide by Study Abroad Consultants

You Want to Study in Australia, Right?

My dream is to study in Australia.

There’s a good chance you’ve told yourself that a hundred times, maybe after seeing a friend’s Sydney post. After realizing that your degree won’t open the doors you hoped for. Australia is a fantastic country. It’s stressful getting there, I’ll admit it. Forms, financial evidence, GTE statements, waiting times… enough to discourage you. It’s not all up to you.

Study Abroad Consultants here. In case of panic, we’re the Zumarah Visa Consultants you can call. A PDF checklist is not all we send you. With every single page, every single question, every single doubt, we sit down with you in person or over video call.

Pakistani Students Love Australia Because:

  • The weather is closer to home. Canada has a six-month winter that is freezing.
  • The time difference is manageable. At 3 AM, you won’t have to wake up Ammi and Abu.
  • The post-study work rights are generous. The length of your stay depends on the type of degree you’ve earned.
  • The pathway to permanent residency is clearer than in any other English-speaking country. Australia is the smart choice if that’s your long-term goal.

Study in Australia from Pakistan – It’s Not All About Grades

Here’s a secret for you.

Universities in Australia don’t just look at your grades. Their attention is drawn to your story.

Is this course right for you? Which university is best for me? Why Australia? After that, what will you do?

GTE stands for Genuine Temporary Entrant. In all honesty? Pakistani students usually get it wrong.

Their writing is formal and boring, such as:

The Master of Business Administration will enhance my career prospects.”

It puts immigration officers to sleep. They become suspicious if they see it.

We assist you in writing a real GTE. A human-sounding one. Bring back modern management skills to Pakistan by connecting with your past (maybe you worked in your family’s business).

Zumarah Visa Consultants helps Pakistani students study in Australia. It’s more than just a form filler. You’re getting someone who helps you tell your story correctly.

Getting an Australian Student Visa as a Pakistani Student

Everyone dreads this part.

Australian concern is that student visas for Pakistani applicants are known to be strict. Yes, it is detailed. However, it is not impossible. The real concern is:

Your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)

This is a requirement for even applying for a visa. It’s your golden ticket to the university. As an Australian university partner, we help you get this fast.

Your Financial Evidence

Your tuition and living expenses must be covered. Officially, living costs amount to around AUD 21,041. But most consultants don’t tell you that the bank statements have to look a certain way. Before you apply, have you made a large deposit? Red flag. Our team reviews your statements and tells you exactly what needs to be corrected.

Your Health Insurance (OSHC)

Your entire stay abroad requires Overseas Student Health Cover. You can get it from us. If you forget it, your visa is immediately denied.

Your Health Check

You must visit a panel doctor in Pakistan (Islamabad, Lahore, or Karachi). You can book from the list we provide.

Your Biometrics

The Australian visa center requires fingerprints and a photo. You’ll know exactly what to bring.

See? It’s a list. A long list, but a list. We have a checklist. And we check it twice. Actually, three times.

Our student visa Australia application process leaves nothing to chance

What About Money? Scholarships to Study in Australia

Let’s be honest. It is expensive to study in Australia. If you look for scholarships, it will be cheaper than you think.

Pakistani students rarely apply for scholarships because they believe:

  • “I’m not clever enough.”
  • “It’s only for PhD students.”
  • “I think the deadline has passed.”

It’s not true.

Scholarships to study in Australia exist for international students. Good students. Students like you.

Our students have won the following awards:

Australia Awards – Tuition plus living stipend. It has been very competitive, but we have had multiple winners.

Destination Australia – Study in a regional area if you are willing to do so. An annual salary of up to AUD 15,000

.University-specific merit scholarships – All four universities have them: Monash, UNSW, Sydney University, and QUT. Tuition is covered by some to the extent of 25%. A few cover 50%.

Rather than simply recommending you apply for scholarships, we meet with you, find the ones that match your profile, and assist you with the application process.

The personal statement of one of our students from Lahore with average grades won her an AUD 10,000 scholarship per year. She wrote it with our help.

Keep your money in your pocket.

Master’s in Australia – Is It Worth It?

Consider a master’s degree in Australia if you have a bachelor’s degree already.

Here’s my honest answer: it depends.

Is it your dream to work in Australia after graduation? Yes, absolutely worth it. Post-study work rights for master’s graduates are strong.

What if you eventually want to become a permanent resident? Getting a master’s degree increases your immigration points.

Are you looking for a fun year away from Pakistan? That’s a lot of money. Honesty is the best policy.

Popular master’s degrees for Pakistanis:

MBA – Only if you have work experience first.

Master of Information Technology – Good for job prospects.

Master of Engineering – Especially in civil and electrical.

Master of Professional Accounting – Many Pakistanis go this route, but the market is competitive.

Master of Public Health – Growing field.

Study in Australia for Pakistani Students – The Truth About Life

Let me tell you what it’s actually like to study in Australia for Pakistani students.

The good:

  • Halal food is easy to find. Sydney and Melbourne in particular.
  • The world is full of mosques. It’s not difficult to find.
  • The Pakistani community is strong. Even grocery stores dedicated to Pakistani food exist.
  • Australia is a friendly country. Unlike some cultures, this is not fake-friendly. A genuine helper.

The challenging:

  • Sydney and Melbourne have high living costs. AUD 250–350 per week can be spent on a shared room.
  • Part-time jobs are available, but they aren’t handed to you. Look around. I have experience in delivery driving, retail, hospitality, and cleaning.
  • Feeling homesick is normal, especially in the beginning. That’s normal.
  • International students are sometimes exploited by landlords. Your rights are taught to you by us.

The financial reality:

  • (Depending on the university and course) AUD 25,000 – 45,000 per year
  • Living: AUD 21,000 – 28,000 per year (depending on city)
  • The hourly wage for part-time work is around AUD 20 to 30. If you work consistently, that will cover your rent and food.

We don’t paint a false picture. The truth will set you free. We then help you plan.
